Key Responsibilities:

SOL Gulf are seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of IT Service Management Executive in our Managed Services team. Candidate Must have prior experience in using ServiceNow’s IT Service management modules. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, or Information Technology, or management sciences coupled with relevant certification such as ITIL or COBIT is preferred.

Key responsibilities of an IT Service Management Executive include:

  • Design, Implement & Manage IT Service Management processes and procedures, primarily Release Management, Incident Management, Problem Management & Service Level Management
  • Ensure IT Services are delivered as per Customer expectations, standards and SLA’s.
  • Maintain IT department Service Catalogue using Service Now.
  • Work as Incident Manager during an event of Critical Incident and ensuring Major Incident Management process is followed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, such as customers, suppliers, and other third-party service providers.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to update and maintain IT application CMDB.
  • Supporting the identification and management of risks associated with IT service delivery.
  • Assisting with the implementation and operation of IT service management tools and technologies.
  • Continuously monitoring and improving the performance of IT services.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Candidate should have at least 6-8 years of experience in IT Service Management.
  2. Candidate should have prior hands-on experience in any of the following role: Release Manager, Change Manager or Major Incident Manager.
  3. Candidate should have strong knowledge in managing Service Catalogue and other Service modules in Service Now.
  4. Understanding of Project lifecycle stages.
  5. Skills and certifications may include but are not limited to ITIL, Service Now, COBIT etc.
