Job Role:
We are seeking an experienced professional to take on the role of IT Applications Support Engineer in our Managed Services team. The ideal candidate should have strong background in maintaining and supporting IT Application production Operations independently. A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field is typically required, along with relevant technical certifications. This is a key customer facing role therefore Strong communication, Stakeholder management and problem-solving skills are critical for this role.
Key responsibilities of IT Applications Support Engineer include:
- Providing operational support to Customer IT applications portfolio, primarily Web Applications, Mobile Applications & CRM.
- Ensuring that IT applications are running smoothly and efficiently and that any incidents or problems are resolved in a timely manner.
- Leading the relationship with key stakeholders, such as customers, suppliers, and other third-party service providers.
- Developing and implementing processes and procedures to ensure the reliability and availability of IT applications.
- Identifying and managing risks associated with IT application production operations.
- Ensuring IT applications and associated changes are delivered in compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Managing operation and maintenance of IT applications, including software components.
- Continuous monitoring and improving the performance of IT applications.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Candidate should have at least 4-6 years of application operational support experience on web/mobile applications.
- Software development experience using .NET, Java, PHP, SQL Server, MySQL will be preferred.
- Preferred to have knowledge of enterprise application e.g. SAP, MS Dynamics etc.
- IT Management and process knowledge covering ITIL, Service Now, Jira.
